my name is xian sung, some say I have a tranquil life, listening to mellifluous birds on a riverbank, surrounded by mountains, living in a tall pagoda where I can see the eye awing lake and the  desolate mountain tops. A sadder and wiser man. I think this tells us the mariner now knows never to mess with God again and he now is wiser. He is sad because his crew died.

he prayeth well who loveth well. I think this quotation shows us he now respects the world and cares for everything on it.

I think this shows us that the mariner is stunned at how much he has learned aswell as that I think that he has realised that life isn’t as easy as he thought it was.

And now this spell was snapt :once more I viewed the ocean green. And looked far forth, yet little saw of what had else been.

The meaning of this stanza is to tell the reader that the Mariners curse is undone once more. Also I think

I think the poet repeated the phrase because it emphaphis that he was looking everywhere because he might be confused or doesn’t know what to do. I think that it also clearly notes that he is looking more than once which shows us he can’t believe his eyes. I think the word is a verb and it has been used to tell us he cares that his crew mates have died because if it said he glanced it signals he only looked for a short amount of time which doesn’t give us the impression he cares. I think another word that could be used is stared because it shows us he looked for a long time. I think repetition is the language device used here and it has been used to signal he is either shocked , scared or maybe even confused.

A woman and her husband lived by a river, on the river there was a bridge. One day the husband left on duty to fight in the civil war, he was gone for 3 months. The woman were destined to be bankrupt and although the thought of being with another man turntable her stomach it was her only choice. The other man lived across the river so the woman travelled there regurlary

if I as to rewrite the bridge I would write the fable in 3rd person because then I could add more details, this is because the other characters only know there part of the story. If I was to write the story in first person is would do it in the shoes of the husband because I could write about his emotions and how he feels when he finds out his wife is dead.

i believe the setting tells us that the mariner is not only scared but petrified, we know this because he says is that a death and are there two. This tells us he could could be scared because we associate death with bad and scary. The mariner could Also be confused because when he says is that death?, there’s a question mark. This indicates he doesn’t really know what the person is therefore he could be confused
